If you’ve got a OnePlus 3, you’re probably wondering when your Android 7.0 Nougat update will come. Now we’ve got an answer for you.
OnePlus has confirmed that it’ll launch a community beta build of Android 7.0 for the OnePlus 3 this month. What’s more, the official OnePlus 3 Nougat update will roll out to all devices by the end of 2016.
OnePlus also confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will be updated to Android 7.0, but there’s no word yet on when that rollout will commence.
The OnePlus 3 is OnePlus’s flagship smartphone — at least for now — and so it’s no surprise that it’ll be updated to Android 7.0. The good news is that OnePlus is trying to be quick about the OP3’s Nougat update, and so barring any unforeseen issues, OnePlus 3 owners will be enjoying their Nougat treat before 2017 is here. Hopefully the OnePlus 2’s update won’t be too far behind.
