Huawei is launching a new Android tablet here in the US.
The MediaPad M3 is now available in the US from Amazon for $299. The tablet runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow below Huawei’s custom EMUI 4.1 user interface, and it does so on an 8.4-inch 2560x1600 display.
Also included with the MediaPad M3 are 8-megapixel cameras on the front and rear of the device, an octa-core Kirin processor, fingerprint reader, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage, with the ability to add up to 128GB additional storage using a microSD card. There’s a 5,100mAh battery in there, too.
Finally, Huawei touts that the MediaPad M3’s stereo speakers have been “tuned and certified” by Harman/Kardon for a high-quality audio experience.
The MediaPad M3 looks like an interesting tablet for its price. It’d be nice if it were running Android 7.0 out of the box, but outside of that, it’s got a high-res display, stereo speakers, and four gigs of RAM for a hair under $300. Hit the link below to get a closer look.
