ZTE Axon 7 Enhanced has 6GB of RAM and Force Touch display, now available in limited quantities

After introducing a mini version the its Axon 7 in September, ZTE today revealed another new version of its flagship Android phone.

The ZTE Axon 7 Enhanced is a souped-up version of the Axon 7. The Enhanced model offers 6GB of RAM, up from 4GB on the standard Axon 7, as well as an upgrade from 64GB of storage on the Axon 7 to 128GB on the Enhanced. There’s also a microSD slot on the Enhanced if you need more storage.

The other major addition to the ZTE Axon 7 Enhanced is Force Touch, meaning that it offers a pressure-sensitive display. ZTE touts that the Axon 7 Enhanced is the first Android phone with Force Touch in the US.

All of the other specs of the Axon 7 Enhanced are similar to the Axon 7. That means that you’re getting a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 20-megapixel camera, and 3,250mAh battery. The Axon 7 Enhanced runs Android 6.0.1 out of the box.

ZTE is now selling the Axon 7 Enhanced on its website, but the company says that quantities are limited, so you’ll want to act quick if you’re thinking about buying one. Pricing is set at $499.98, $100 more than the standard Axon 7.
