CES is coming up next month, and while the show may not be quite as mobile-heavy as it used to be, a new report claims that LG is prepping several new devices to show there.
LG will debut new K and X series phones at CES, claims VentureBeat, along with a new stylus-equipped smartphone. While not all of the info of these handsets are known, we do have at least a few spec details for each device:
- LG K3 2017: 4.5-inch display, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, 2,100mAh battery
- LG K4 2017: 4.7-inch screen, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 2,500mAh battery
- LG K8 2017: 5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 2,500mAh battery
- LG K10 2017: 5.3-inch HD screen, 5-megapixel wide angle front camera, fingerprint reader, rear-mounted buttons, and 2.5D glass on both the front and rear of the device
- LG X power 2: 5.5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel wide angle front camera, 4,500mAh battery
- LG X calibur: 4,100mAh battery, military-standard durability and IP68-rated for water and dust resistance
- LG Stylus 3/Stylo 3 plus: 5.7-inch display, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, fingerprint reader, rear-mounted buttons, 3,200mAh battery, 32GB of storage, included stylus
It’s expected that these devices will be announced by LG starting next week, which wouldn’t be a surprise since the company regularly announces new hardware weeks before it launches.
Speaking of launch, the K series phones are expected to be released in the middle of January, following by the Stylus 3 in mid-February and the X calibur in mid-March. The X power 2 is expected to debut at MWC in February and be released at the end of April.
While none of these rumored devices will be in the same tier as LG’s flagship G5 or V20, they do span most spec ranges and give LG new hardware in most price ranges.
