The Samsung Gear S is heading stateside soon, and now Samsung says that its U.S. wearables onslaught will continue with the Gear Circle.
The Samsung Gear Circle is currently available in “select” T-Mobile retail stores and is expected to launch at AT&T, Best Buy, Samsung.com and Amazon.com later in November. The device will be sold in black and blue, with a special white version available at Best Buy.
If you missed the Gear Circle’s original announcement in late August, the device is a wireless stereo headphone that rests around your neck and connects over Bluetooth. It can play music, react to voice commands and vibrate when you’ve got an incoming call. Samsung says that the Gear Circle can last for up to 9 hours of music playback and 11 hours of talk time on a single charge.
The Gear Circle looks like an interesting device that could be good for exercising thanks to its music playback, voice commands and calling support. The device looks fairly lightweight, and because it’s wireless, you don’t have to worry about getting all tangled up while exercising.
Samsung says that it’ll share more availability details soon. Would you use the Samsung Gear Circle?
