Google Keep is the latest Android app to get Material Design treatment

How about one more Android app Material Design update to round out this Lollipop-filled Wednesday?

Google Keep for Android is now being updated to version 3.0.01, complete with a few notable tweaks. Most notable is the refreshed, Material Design-ified user interface. That includes a floating hamburger menu, icons in the slide-out menu and a new, flatter app icon.

The new Keep also includes an updated search user interface that lets you search by note type or color as well as a bar that’ll pop up at the bottom of the display when you archive a note.

Google Keep is yet another nice-looking Android app update, and anyone that gets Android 5.0 ought to appreciate that Google is working hard to make its apps look right at home on Lollipop.

If you want to give this new version of Google Keep a try right now, the folks at Android Police have posted the APK for your sideloading pleasure.
