Tweetstorms are a popular way for Twitter users to create multiple tweets in a single thread, making them all easy to read. The problem is that tweetstorms aren't an official Twitter feature, so it's not easy for everyone to figure out how to make them work. That changes today.
Twitter has announced a new threads feature that makes it easy for users to string together multiple tweets. Simply start a tweet and then tap the "+" button above your keyboard. This will let you connect multiple tweets and publish them all at once.

In addition to making it easy to post threads, Twitter is also working to simplify the way that you read threads. When a Twitter user posts a thread, there will now be a "Show this thread" label that'll make it easy for you to see all of the tweets in a thread.
Twitter's new thread feature will be rolling out to everyone over the next few weeks.
It's good to see Twitter finally adding an official thread feature. While some people don't care for tweetstorms and threads, suggesting that users should simply write a blog instead, a lot of people like to use their Twitter following and the Twitter service to post long thoughts. With this official thread feature, it's now easier to post these threads because you can keep them together and post them at once, and it's also easier for your followers to read them.
Have you ever posted a Twitter thread?
