The LG V30 isn't the only device receiving its Android 8.0 Oreo update today.
The Android One Moto X4 is now being updated to Oreo. Several Android One Moto X4 owners on Reddit began receiving their Android 8.0 update over the weekend, reporting that the update is version OPW27.1.
As for what's included, Android One Moto X4 owners can expect Oreo features like picture-in-picture and notification dots. Also included are the December 1, 2017 Android security patches.
This is an over the air update, meaning that it should automatically hit your device soon if it hasn't already.
When it announced the Android One Moto X4 a few months ago, Google promised that the device would get its Android Oreo update before the end of 2017. Google definitely cut it close, but the company kept its word, which is good to see. If you've got an Android One Moto X4, keep an eye out for your Oreo treat.
