Heads up, Razer Phone owners, because you've got a new software update coming your way.
Users in the official Razer forums are now receiving a Razer Phone update. It comes in at 97MB in size and includes camera and audio improvements as well as a few other tweaks.
Here's the full changelog included with the update:
Camera improvements
- Improved shutter speed in low light and when using HDR.
- Reduced noise and clearer shadows.
- Improved picture quality with better color cast.
- Crushed bugs and performance improvements.
Audio improvements
- "Tweaked the knobs" for greater clarity during playback.
- Improved call quality for HD Audio.
- Fixed some issues with Dolby audio.
Smoothed out the auto-brightness luminosity.
Updated Arrival theme icons to a dark style.
Various other bug fixes.
This update is now rolling out over the air, so if you've got a Razer Phone, keep an eye out for in in the coming days.
The Razer Phone is a fairly new product and is the first smartphone from a company traditionally known for gaming PC hardware, so some folks may have been uncertain about what kind of support the Razer Phone would get. That's why it's good to see this update coming out and bringing improvements to the camera, one of the most important features of a smartphone for many people, as well as other goodies.
