OnePlus 3T receiving OxygenOS 3.5.4 update with T-Mobile improvements and more

OnePlus 3T hands-on

If you picked up a shiny new OnePlus 3T recently, then you’ll be happy to learn that a new software update is coming your way.

OnePlus has announced the rollout of OxygenOS 3.5.4 for the OnePlus 3T. The update brings several bug fixes and improvements, including optimizations for use on T-Mobile US and tweaks to reduce lag when the OP3T’s battery falls below 5 percent.

Here’s OnePlus’s official changelog for OxygenOS 3.5.4:

  • Optimizations for US-TMO Network
  • Optimizations to Reduce Lag when Battery is below 5%
  • Optimized Bluetooth Connectivity for Mazda Cars
  • Optimized Battery Saving Mode: GPS and Orientation Preferences will be restored when Battery Saving Mode is closed.
  • Fixed Flashlight Usability Issue in WhatsApp
  • Increased System Stability
  • Implemented Various Bug Fixes

As with most over the air software updates, OxygenOS 3.5.4 is going out to OnePlus 3T devices incrementally. This means that only a small group of OP3T owners will see it today, and then it’ll roll out to everyone else in a few days once it’s been confirmed that the update is working smoothly.
