Remember Events from Facebook? The app focused on helping you find stuff to do launched on iPhone in early October, and now it’s finally made its way onto Android.
Events from Facebook is now live in the Play Store. Just like its iPhone counterpart, this Android app will show you events happening around you, give you event recommendations, see events that your friends have responded to, and more.
While the main Facebook app does offer some events functionality, this standalone Events from Facebook app is meant to quickly help you find something to do. With it, you can immediately find events happening near you, and you can also filter events based on time and event category if you’re looking for something to do at a future time or if you’re in the mood to do something specific.
