Along with its bigger screen and improved camera, the Moto X 2nd Gen gained a new customization option when it debut this year: leather backs. If that’s not special enough for you, though, Verizon is now offering an even more unique Moto X.
The Moto X is now available from Verizon with a football leather back panel. It’s got a black front panel and is available from Verizon’s online store right now for $119.99 with a two-year contract, $0 down and 24 payments of $22.91 each with Verizon Edge or $549.99 full price. To compare, the regular Moto X is $99.99 on-contract, $20.38 per month with Verizon Edge or $499.99 without a commitment.
This football leather-clad Moto X looks pretty interesting. Not only does it stand out from all of the other custom Moto X backsides, but its textured leather could make it even grippier than the standard. Unfortunately, it’s not clear if or when the football leather Moto X will be made available to other carriers. As of this writing, the option isn’t available on Motorola’s Moto Maker website.
What do you think of this football leather Moto X? Would you buy one if it were offered for your carrier?
