OnePlus 5 gets OxygenOS 4.5.3 update with Wi-Fi, screenshot bug fixes

Today’s the day that the OnePlus 5 officially launches, and OnePlus is celebrating by releasing a software update for the device.

OxygenOS 4.5.3 is now making its way to the OnePlus 5. The update fixes some bugs, like those related to displaying expanded screenshots and occasional Wi-Fi drops, and includes a handful of optimizations as well.

Here’s OnePlus’s changelog for the update:

• Google Translate stutters
• Wi-Fi occasional drops

• System stability improvements
• Camera effect and stability enhancements
• Effects of auto-brightness adjustment

Also of note is that OnePlus is aware that some T-Mobile customers are unable to use WeChat and Pokémon Go on the OnePlus 5. The good news is that there’s a fix, which tasks you with manually reconfiguring your APN settings to:
