iOS 11 Public Beta released by Apple

iOS 11 iPad iPhone

Up to now, only registered iOS developers have been able to test iOS 11. That changes today.

Apple has unleashed the first iOS 11 Public Beta update, giving members of the Apple Beta Software Program the chance to try iOS 11 before it rolls out to everyone later this year.

If you’d like to try the iOS 11 Public Beta, you’ll first need to enroll in the Apple Beta Software Program. You’ll then need to go to Apple’s site on your iOS device to install the beta profile, restart your device, and then the iOS 11 Public Beta update should be pushed to you over the air.

One thing to keep in mind is that this is a beta release, so you could run into some bugs while using it.

iOS 11 includes lots of new features, including a refreshed Control Center, a Files app that’ll let you browse the files on your device as well as on services like Dropbox and Google Drive, a Dock on the iPad that’ll give you quick access to your favorite apps from any screen, drag and drop, and much more.

Are you going to install the iOS 11 Public Beta?
