LG V30 rumored to debut at IFA 2017 with Snapdragon 835

LG V20 hands-on video

A report this week suggested that we might meet the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 in late August, and now another rumor claims that we’ll see a new LG flagship shortly after.

LG is allegedly planning to introduce the V30 the day before IFA 2017, a consumer electronics trade show that runs from September 1 through September 6 in Berlin. That's according to ETNews, who adds hat LG will launch the V30 in South Korea in September at a price of 800,000 KRW ($700 USD) for a 64GB model.

Today’s report also claims to have a few details on the features of the LG V30. It’s rumored that the V30 will have an OLED display and a “bezeless design”, a secondary display like past V-series models, and a dual rear camera setup. The device will reportedly also have a Snapdragon 835 processor, an embedded 3200mAh battery, a Quad DAC, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Based on this rumor, it sounds like the LG V30 will include many features that’ve been the focus of LG’s recent flagships, like a dual rear camera setup and focus on quality audio. A Snapdragon 835 would make sense for the V30 since that’s currently Qualcomm’s flagship processor, and the inclusion of a secondary display above the main screen has been one of the highlights of LG’s V phones, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the V30 have one, too.

What do you want to see from the LG V30?
