Pokémon Go players, a special event is coming up this weekend that you’ll want to take advantage of.
To celebrate Halloween, Pokémon Go will improve you chances to catch “spooky Pokémon”. That means that Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Zubat, Golbat, Drowzee, and Hypno will appear more often.
Keeping with the Halloween theme, Pokémon Go trainers will get extra Candy just like folks Trick-Or-Treating in real life. Trainers will receive double Candy every time that they catch, hatch, and transfer Pokémon.
Buddy Pokémon are getting a boost, too, helping you to earn Candy four times as fast.
Pokémon Go’s Halloween event will take place from October 26 through November 1.
This is a big event for Pokémon Go players. Not only will it be easier to capture ghost Pokémon, which typically only show up in the evening, but the Candy boosts will make it easier to evolve and power up other Pokémon.
