The Honor 10 that debuted a few months ago is no slouch, offering an octa-core Kirin 970 processor and up to 6GB of RAM. However, Huawei felt the need to kick things up a notch.
Huawei today announced the Honor 10 GT, a new version of the Honor 10 that packs 8GB of RAM. The standard Honor 10 comes in 4GB or 6GB variants, so the GT is a notable upgrade in that regard.
The rest of the Honor 10 GT is similar to the Honor 10. There's a 5.84-inch 2280x1080 display, dual rear camera setup with a 16MP color sensor and 24MP monochrome sensor, and an octa-core Kirin 970 processor. There's a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack included, too, along with a notch at the top of the display and a fingerprint reader below it.
Huawei will launch the Honor 10 GT in China on July 24th. It'll be available in the same purplish-blue color option that the Honor 10 comes in, which is good to hear because that's such a cool paint job. There's no word yet on whether the Honor 10 GT will become available in other markets, but if you're in China and are interested in a new phone with 8GB of RAM, keep an eye out for the Honor 10 GT later this month.
