We're now deep into the summer in the U.S., and lots of people are probably looking for things to do. Google wants to help by improving the way you find events using Google Search.
Now when you use Google Search to find events in the U.S., you'll be greeted by a list of events along with key info about each event. Tapping an event will give you an overview with info like time, location, and ticketing providers, and you'll be able to visit the event webpage to get more info or go straight to the ticketing provider to get tickets. You'll be able to easily save events and share them with others, too.
Google wants to help you find events that appeal to you, too. When you're browsing events in Google Search, you can tap the "For You" tab to get personalized ideas of things to do near you. You'll see trending and popular events in your area, too, so that you can keep up with what everyone else near you is doing.
These Google Search improvements are rolling out over the next few days.
