Days after we saw photos that claimed to show dummy models of the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone and 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus, new videos of the devices have surfaced.
Brief hands-on videos with dummy versions of the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone and 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus have been posted by @OnLeaks and TigerMobiles. The two devices share a fairly similar design, with slim bezels all around the display, rounded corners, and a notch. The big difference between the two — besides the size, of course —is that the smaller LCD iPhone has a single rear camera while the iPhone X Plus has a dual rear camera setup.
Rumors have also said that Apple will use an LCD screen in the 6.1-inch iPhone rather than an OLED like in the iPhone X in order to reduce costs. Another way that Apple will reportedly make this iPhone cheaper is by using aluminum for its frame instead of stainless steel like on the iPhone X.
Apple's three new phones — the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, a new iPhone X, and the iPhone X Plus — are likely going to make their debut in early to mid-September. It's been estimated that the 6.1-inch iPhone will come in around $700 or $800, the new iPhone X will cost $899, and the iPhone X Plus may cost $999, which is Apple's asking price for the current iPhone X.
