Last week, we got a pretty good look at the upcoming Moto G5 thanks to some renders that were leaked by a retailer. If you prefer your phone leaks to include real photos of a device, though, today is your lucky day.
Photos that claim to show the Moto G5 have been posted by Dudu Rocha Tec. The images give us a clear look at the aluminum backside of the Moto G5 as well as its face, complete with Moto branding below the earpiece, and its fingerprint reader below the display.
The “About phone” screen on this device appears to confirm that the Moto G5 is running Android 7.0 Nougat.
According to the aforementioned retailer leak, the Moto G5 will feature a 5-inch 1920x1080 display, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Moto is also reportedly prepping a Moto G5 Plus with a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 display, 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, and an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor.
Moto is hosting an MWC event on February 26, so we may be just a few days away from officially meeting the Moto G5 and its Plus counterpart.
