Remember ZTE’s Project CSX crowdsourced phone? Well now you can back the project with your very own money.
ZTE today revealed more details about its Project CSX crowdsourced smartphone project. The device will officially be known as “Hawkeye,” and it’s available to be backed on Kickstarter right now. A prototype of the Hawkeye’s design can be seen above.
Pricing for the Hawkeye is set at $199, and the phone is expected to begin shipping in September 2017.
ZTE’s Hawkeye is the result of suggestions from consumers on what they want in a new smartphone. Two of its major features are eye-tracking that’ll let you scroll through content, and an optional self-adhesive case that’ll let you stick the phone to a surface for hands-free use.
Other features of the ZTE Hawkeye include a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, dual rear cameras, dual SIM slots, a microSD slot, a fingerprint sensor, and Android Nougat.
