Verizon has launched a special plan aimed at individual customers.
The new Verizon plan offers 5GB of data for $55 per month with Auto Pay. The plan breaks down like this: Customers get 5GB of data for $40 per month, then pay $20 for the line access fee. Enrolling in Auto Pay will knock $5 off your monthly bill, leaving you at $55 per month.
Also included with this plan is unlimited talk and text.
Verizon is advertising the plan as “Just for you.”, saying that “5GB is more than 4 out of 5 people use.” and “Don’t pay extra for data you’ll never use.” The base Verizon plans offer 2GB of data for $55 or 4GB for $70, so this promo plan is a pretty nice deal for individual Verizon customers that aren’t super-heavy data users.
This 5GB/$55 plan is currently available in stores and over the phone at 1-800-256-4646. Verizon says that it’ll be offered online starting January 24.
A source has told Droid-Life that Verizon is also offering an individual promo plan with 7GB of data for $70 per month that you can get in-store or over the phone.
