Microsoft intros updated Surface computers, wireless Surface Headphones

After recently introducing its new 10-inch Surface Go, Microsoft has updated a few of its existing Surface products

The new Surface Pro 6 is equipped with an Intel 8th generation quad-core processor that Microsoft says is 67 percent faster. There's a 12.3-inch display on the Surface Pro 6, just like the previous Surface Pro model, along with an 8MP autofocus rear camera and battery that's rated to last up to 13.5 hours on a single charge. As with previous Surface Pro models, the Surface Pro 6 also boasts a hinge that'll let you switch between Laptop Mode, Studio Mode, and Tablet Mode.

Another notable new feature of the Surface Pro 6 is the new black color option. The previous Surface Pro was only available in a silver color, so this new black version is a nice addition for folks who like their stealthy black gadgets.

The Surface Pro 6 will start at $899 and will be available for pre-order today, October 2nd.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 2

Also getting a new black color option is the Surface Laptop 2. This model is getting Intel's 8th gen quad-core processor, too, and will offer a 13.5-inch display and a battery that's rated to last up to 14.5 hours on a single charge. Microsoft says that the Surface Laptop 2 is 85 percent faster than its predecessor and that it also offers faster and quieter typing.

Pre-orders for the Surface Laptop 2 will begin on October 2nd, with pricing starting at $999.

Microsoft Surface Studio 2

Microsoft showed some love to desktop users today as well with the announcement of the Surface Studio 2. Touted as "the fastest Surface ever made", the Surface Studio 2 has 50 percent more graphics performance, USB-C support, and Xbox wireless built-in. The computer comes with the newest Surface Pen with tilt sensibility and 4096 levels of pressure, too.

The Surface Studio 2 will be available for pre-order starting October 2nd at a starting price of $3,499.

Microsoft Surface Headphones official

Rounding out today's announcements is the reveal of a new Surface product. The Surface Headphones are a wireless pair of headphones with adjustable noise cancellation and hands-free calling. Microsoft has built its Cortana voice assistant is built in to the Surface Headphones as well, and the automatic pause and play feature will pause your audio when you take the headphones off. The Surface Headphones appear to include USB-C charging, too.

Microsoft says that the Surface Headphones will be available later this year for $349.
