One week after a rumor claimed that the OnePlus 6T might work on Verizon when it launches, a new report has emerged that says that that will be the case.
The OnePlus 6T has passed Verizon's certification labs, sources tell PCMag, meaning that the upcoming flagship will work on Verizon when it's released. While the OnePlus 6T won't be sold by Verizon, being certified for use on Verizon means that Verizon customers will be able to buy an unlocked OnePlus 6T and bring it onto Verizon's network.
This is big news for OnePlus because it means that the OnePlus 6T will be the company's first phone to work on Verizon, opening up OnePlus to a new, large customer base. And while most folks do still buy their phones from their carrier, there are surely some Verizon customers who are interested in trying a OnePlus phone but refuse to switch carriers to do so.
The OnePlus 6T will be officially revealed on October 29. Does the news that it'll work on Verizon have you interested in the OP6T?
