Honor 6X owners, we’ve got some exciting news for you today.
Honor has revealed that it’s looking for Honor 6X owners to best test the phone’s Android 7.0 update, which will include an updated EMUI 5.0 user interface. To apply, simply email your device’s IMEI to huaweifut@huawei.com.

While Honor hasn’t said when the 6X’s public release of Android 7.0 and EMUI 5.0 will happen, the fact that it’s now seeking beta testers suggests that the full rollout is close. That’s exciting news because not only is Android 7.0 a nice upgrade, but the new EMUI 5.0 is said to be quite an improvement over the previous version of Huawei’s custom user interface.
