The latest device maker to cook up an Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch is Misfit.
The Misfit Vapor features a 1.39-inch round AMOLED display and a touch bezel that you can use to navigate the Android Wear 2.0 software that’s onboard. Also included is a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 4GB of storage, and an array of sensors like an accelerometer, altimeter, gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor, and GPS. There’s a microphone in there, too.
All of those features are packed into a 44mm stainless steel upper casing that’ll be offered in Jet Black and Rose Gold color options. The case features water resistance up to 50 meters.
Misfit will unleash the Vapor in late summer for $199.
The Vapor could be one of the better Android Wear options available when it launches later this year. Not only does it look good, but it’s got a pretty affordable price tag for a new smartwatch. It’s also notable that this isn’t Misfit’s first wearable, as the company has released a few fitness focused devices in the past, so you’re not just getting a cheap device from a no-name firm.
What do you think of the Misfit Vapor? Does its $199 price make you interested in checking it you?
