Remember Visible, the new prepaid brand that's backed by Verizon and runs on VZW's 4G LTE network? We first got wind of the service back in May, but at the time, it was only available via invitation. Now that requirement has been lifted.
Visible is now available without an invitation code. If you're interested in giving Visible a try, you can download the Visible app from the App Store, create an account, and then Visible will overnight you a SIM card.

Pricing for Visible is set at $40 per month. That'll get you unlimited talk, text, and data on the Verizon network along with mobile hotspot functionality. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that data speeds top out at 5Mbps and video streaming is limited to 480p resolution.
It's also worth noting that Visible is currently only available to iPhones. Specifically, Visible works with the iPhone 6 iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, iPhone 8, and iPhone X, as well as the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. The company says that it plans to expand compatibility to Android phones "soon".
If you're an iPhone owner on the hunt for new cell service, Visible looks like an interesting option. For $40 per month, you get unlimited talk, text, and data on Verizon's network, and a focus of Visible is that you can do everything you need to do with your account in its app. The 5Mbps speed cap could be a turn-off for some, but if you don't have demanding mobile data requirements, Visible is worth a look.
