Eagerly anticipating Google's Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL? If so, we've now got a date that you can circle on your calendar.
Google may announce the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL on October 4th. As spotted by Brandon Lee of the YouTube channel This Is Tech Today, a listing on the site Famebit says that "The Pixel 3 phone is launching October 4th, 2018." The page asks for Canadian influencers who are not currently Pixel users but would be willing to try the Pixel 3 and share their switching story in a video.
The site Famebit is meant to help advertisers and marketers with content creators. While it's possible that this Pixel 3 listing is a fake, it does line up with what we'd expect from Google. Both the Pixel and Pixel 2 phones were announced on October 4th in 2016 and 2017, respectively, so it wouldn't be a surprise for Google to debut the Pixel 3 on October 4th, 2018.
Specs for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are largely still a mystery, but there have been some details on the phones that've leaked out. The Pixel 3 XL is expected to come with a notch, dual front-facing cameras, and dual front speakers, while the smaller Pixel 3 will skip the notch. Both phones will reportedly have upgraded single lens rear cameras.
