Days after we got our first good look at the LG V40 ThinQ, the upcoming Android flagship has leaked again.
New renders of the LG V40 ThinQ have made their way online. These renders are not official images from LG, but are renders based off of factory CADs made by @OnLeaks and SlashLeaks. The images show an LG device with three cameras around back and two cameras on the front in a notch at the top of the screen.
Previous leaks have suggested that the three rear cameras on the LG V40 ThinQ will include a standard sensor, a super wide angle camera, and a telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the dual front cameras are expected to offer 3D facial recognition.
Other notable features of this LG V40 ThinQ include slim bezels around the display and a small chin at the bottom of the screen. There's a rear fingerprint reader, too, and a set of buttons on the sides of the phone that include a power button, volume buttons, and what's likely a dedicated Google Assistant key.
Today's leak also suggests that the LG V40 ThinQ will have a 6.3-inch screen, up from the 6-inch display found on the LG V30. The LG V40 ThinQ's measurements are said to be 158.8 x 75.8 x 7.8mm, but that thickness goes up to 8.2mm when you factor in the camera bump.
It's been rumored that LG could introduce the V40 ThinQ in September. The device looks like an upgraded version of the V30, complete with added cameras to help it stand out in the competitive smartphone market. Like the LG G7 ThinQ before it, the LG V40 ThinQ looks likely to adopt the notch, too. It's likely that LG will let you hide the V40 ThinQ's notch by blacking out the status bar, though, as it did with the G7 ThinQ.
