Google Assistant has long been able to tell you about the news when you ask "Hey Google, what's the news?", but now the feature is getting a bit more powerful.
You can now ask Google Assistant about specific news topics. Just say something like "Hey Google, what's the news on the women's national soccer team?" or "Hey Google, what's the latest on NASA?" to get excerpts from news articles on those topics on Google Home. On Smart Display devices, you'll also get relevant YouTube videos.
These features are also now available on Android phones in the U.S. They'll be rolling out to Android Auto and Google Assistant-enabled headphones soon, too.
