Amazon has steadily been adding phones to its Prime Exclusive program, which offers unlocked Android phones at discounted prices, ever since the launch of the series. Now two more devices have been added.
The Moto Z3 Play and Moto G6 Play are now available through Amazon's Prime Exclusive program. These models feature lower prices than the standard versions and come with Amazon apps preloaded, including Prime Video and Amazon Kindle. Also of note is that customers who buy a Moto Z3 Play will get a free Moto Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa Moto Mod for free.
Both phones will launch on June 29th, but you can pre-order one right now.
As I mentioned, both the Moto Z3 Play and Moto G6 Play are being sold unlocked, and they're compatible with all four major U.S. carriers. That means you should be able to buy either one and take it onto AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, or Verizon without issue.
When it comes to specs, the Moto Z3 Play (above) features a 6.01-inch 2160x1080 Super AMOLED display, octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. There are two rear cameras here — one 12MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture and one 5MP depth-sensing camera — as well as an 8MP wide angle front camera. Rounding out the Moto Z3 Play's specs is a 3000mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo.
Meanwhile, the Moto G6 Play (below) boasts a 5.7-inch 720p IPS screen, quad-core Snapdragon 427 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. There's a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture as well as a 5MP front-facing camera for all your selfie needs, and Android 8.0 Oreo is preloaded. Powering the Moto G6 Play is a large 4000mAh battery.
