HMD Global's newest Nokia device has arrived in the U.S.
The Nokia 6.1 is now available in the U.S. from Amazon and Best Buy. This model is similar to the Nokia 6 (2018), but it runs Android One, which means that it runs vanilla Android and will get regular software updates.
In terms of raw specs, the Nokia 6.1 is packing a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, 16MP rear and 8MP front cameras, an octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. There's a 3000mAh battery powering the package, a fingerprint reader on the back, and a USB-C charging port. Also of note is that the Nokia 6.1 has a unibody aluminum design.
The Nokia 6.1 looks like it could be a good option for folks in the market for an affordable smartphone. It's got a clean design, a premium metal body, and respectable specs, and because it's got Android One, it should receive regular software updates, including security updates.
