Alongside the debut of the smaller Google Home Mini, Google also revealed a third Google Home device, the Google Home Max.
Like the other Google Home products, Google Home Max has the Google Assistant built-in. The Max features a large speaker, designed for optimal sound, and can either be stood upright or horizontally. The speakers can adapt sound to fit your environment.
Although Google Home Max has the same capabilities as the other Google Home products, including 4 LEDs when the device is listening, it’s main focus is to provide an optimal listening experience for users with its large speaker. As an added bonus, those who purchase Google Home Max also receive a free 12-month subscription to YouTube Red.
The large speaker doesn’t come cheap, however. Google Home Max will cost $399, making it $50 more than Apple’s HomePod, and is expected to arrive sometime in December.
