Some Android Wear smartwatches have already gotten their Android Wear 2.0 update following a slight delay, but there are still several watches waiting for their own taste of 2.0. Now we’ve got an idea of when these devices will receive their update.
Google says that devices like the Moto 360 (Gen 2), Moto 360 Sport, Huawei Watch, and other devices should begin receiving Android Wear 2.0 around the end of April or late May. These watches include:
- Moto 360 (Gen 2)
- Moto 360 Sport
- LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE
- Huawei Watch
- Huawei Watch Ladies
- ASUS ZenWatch 2
- ASUS ZenWatch 3
Several Android Wear smartwatches have already gotten their 2.0 update, including the TAG Heuer Connected, LG Watch Urbane, LG Watch R, and Fossil Q Founder.
Meanwhile, the LG G Watch, Samsung Gear Live, Moto 360 (Gen 1), Sony Smartwatch 3, and ASUS ZenWatch 1 won’t be receiving an update to Android Wear 2.0.
The update to Android Wear 2.0 is a significant one, bringing several new features. Those include an on-watch Play Store, messaging improvements like a keyboard and handwriting support, and more.
