When you’re traveling abroad, you may need some help finding the best places to visit during your limited time there. The problem is that the people living in the place you’re visiting may speak a different language than you. Google is here to help.
Starting today, reviews in Google Maps and Google Search will be automatically translated into the language that you’ve set on your device. The original text of the review will be available below the translated version.
Translating reviews manually has always been an option, but that can be kind of a pain because you’ve got to copy the text, switch to a translation app, paste the text in, and then wait for the translation to pop out. And then you’ve got the repeat the process for any other reviews that you’d like to read. Now Google is taking all of that work out and making your trips easier.
