Apple started the week with a new iOS 11.3 beta, and now it's ending the week the same way.
iOS 11.3 beta 6 is now rolling out to registered developers. The update can be installed over the air by going into Settings > General > Software Update on your enrolled device, or it can be downloaded on the web from Apple's Developer Center.
Apple has said that iOS 11.3 will be released to the public this spring. A precise launch date isn't known, but now that we're on the sixth beta release of iOS 11.3, it seems possible that we could see a public release on or shortly after March 20, the first day of spring.
iOS 11.3 brings many new features, including ARKit 1.5 for improved augmented reality, Business Chat for messaging businesses in the Messages app, and four new Animoji: a dragon, a bear, a skull, and a lion.
Apple is also making battery improvements in iOS 11.3. A new Battery Health feature will tell you whether or not your phone's battery is at maximum capacity and its peak performance capability. The app will also tell you if your phone's performance is being slowed due to the age of your battery and allow you to disable that performance throttling.
