The Amazon Echo is now on sale for $129.99, which is $50 off its normal price. Both the black and white models are backordered a bit, with the former expected back in stock on August 11th and the latter on August 13th, but you can order now and still get the discount.
Amazon’s Echo has a number of skills. You can use it to ask basic questions like what the weather is like as well as play music from Pandora and Spotify, control smart home products from Philips Hue and Wemo, place orders from Uber and Domino’s, and more. Amazon also recently added the messaging and calling support for Alexa-enabled devices like the Echo, and that feature works when communicating with Android and iOS devices that have the Alexa app, too.
