Snapchat Spectacles are now being sold by Amazon. Pricing is set at $129.99, the same price that Snap is asking for them, and the Black, Coral, and Teal color options are all available. The Spectacles also qualify for free two-day shipping for Prime members.
Availability on Amazon is a big change from the days when Spectacles could only be purchased from a single physical vending machine. Previously, people would line up for hours to buy a pair of these video-recording sunglasses, but now they can be bought and on your face in a couple of days. That’s a good thing, because Spectacles are pretty neat for fans of Snapchat.
Spectacles are glasses that can capture 10, 20, or 30 second videos that you can then share to Snapchat. The videos, which are also saved to your Snapchat Memories, are circular and allow viewers to turn their phones around in their hands to get different views of your video.
