T-Mobile reportedly prepping own-brand REVVL T1 phone with Android Nougat

T-Mobile has made a lot of big moves in the wireless industry, and according to a new report, one of the carrier’s next big efforts will be hardware.

T-Mobile is planning to launch a series of new devices under the T-Mobile REVVL name, according to Android Authority. The phone you see pictured above is said to be the T-Mobile REVVL T1, the first in this line of new own-brand hardware.

The REVVL T1 is reportedly manufactured by TCL, the same company behind the BlackBerry KEYone. T-Mobile’s REVVL T1 is said to have a mid-range spec list that includes a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, a 3000mAh battery, and a fingerprint reader. The phone will reportedly come with Android Nougat preinstalled.

T-Mobile is also reportedly prepping a REVVL T2 and REVVL T3 Pro, but there are no details available for either of those devices.

Getting back to the REVVL T1, today’s report doesn’t say when the phone will launch or how much it’ll cost when it does. The device is expected to be affordable, though, and given its mid-range spec list, T-Mo certainly could make the REVVL T1 easy on the wallet. We’ll just have to wait and see exactly how aggressively T-Mobile prices it.
