Motorola today expanded its like of Moto devices with two new entries, the Moto C and Moto C Plus.

The new Moto C and Moto C Plus are affordable smartphones targeted at price-conscious shoppers and new smartphone users. The Moto C runs Android 7.0 on a 5-inch 854x480 display and comes equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera with its own flash, and 8GB/16GB of storage, with a microSD slot for adding more storage.

Also included with the standard Moto C is a quad-core MediaTek MT6580m processor, 1GB of RAM, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 2350mAh battery.

And then there’s the Moto C Plus, which is a bit higher-end than its non-Plus sibling. The Moto C Plus comes equipped with a 5-inch 1280x720 display, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, 1/2GB of RAM, and a large 4000mAh battery that should give the Moto C Plus solid battery life.

Other features of the Moto C Plus include a 2-megapixel front camera with flash, 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Android 7.0 Nougat.

Motorola says that the Moto C and Moto C Plus will begin rolling out this spring across Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The Moto C will start at €89 for a model with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, and 3G connectivity, while a 4G model will cost €99. The Moto C Plus will start at €119 with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage.

The Moto E has long been Motorola’s affordable Android lineup, but for 2017, it looks like the Moto C will be helming that position. While they’re not going to blow your hair back with raw performance, the Moto C phones look like nice affordable options, offering features like microSD slots and simple, clean designs.
