Now that we’ve entered May, we’re getting closer to the official debut of the HTC U 11. We are still a couple of weeks out, though, and so the rumor mill today churned out a new leak to keep us satiated until May 16 rolls around.
A new report claims to spill the spec details of the HTC U 11. According to MySmartPrice, the HTC U 11 will come equipped with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, and a microSD slot.
It’s expected that the HTC U 11 will offer a 12-megapixel rear camera with UltraPixel 3, UltraSpeed autofocus, and optical image stabilization. A 16-megapixel camera will reportedly be located around front. Rounding out the rumored spec list is HTC BoomSound tech, a fingerprint reader, 3D audio recording, dual SIM slots, NFC, and an IP57 water resistance.
Those specs would make the HTC U 11 a flagship-tier device, even more so than the recently launched HTC U Ultra, which comes with an older Snapdragon 821 processor. Of course, the highlight feature of the HTC U 11 is expected to be Edge Sense, which will let you perform actions by squeezing the device. That feature is kind of tough to judge on paper, though, so we’re going to have to wait until we get the HTC U 11 in our hands before we know what it’s like to use.
