Android O beta update now rolling out

Android O Easter egg

One day after Google launched the Android O Beta Program, it’s started pushing out a new update to those enrolled.

A new Android O beta release is now rolling out over the air. It’s a pretty small update, weighing in at just 44.5MB on my Nexus 6P, whereas the first Android O beta update was a whopping 1053.1MB.

This new version of Android O is OPP2.170420.019, up from yesterday’s OPP2.170420.017 release.

Google doesn’t specify what’s included with this update. Considering its small size, though, the new Android O beta update is likely focused on squashing a couple of bugs that were discovered in yesterday’s release. If you’ve got a device that’s enrolled in the Android O Beta Program, go into Settings > System > System updates to check for this new update.

If you haven’t yet enrolled in the Android O Beta Program, you can do so right here. The devices that are eligible for the program include the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, and Nexus Player.
