Thanksgiving may be over, but HMD Global is serving up a late dessert to Nokia 8 owners.
The Nokia 8 is now receiving its Android 8.0 Oreo update. The rollout has been confirmed by Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer at HMD Global.

Twitter user @Robinxdroid already received the update on their Nokia 8 and shared the changelog for it, too. This 1518.1MB update includes Oreo features like picture-in-picture and autofill passwords as well as the November 2017 Android security patches.
There aren't many non-Nexus or non-Pixel phones out there that have Android 8.0 yet, so it's exciting for Nokia 8 owners to be getting the update today. There are quite a few goodies included in the update to Oreo, so if you've got a Nokia 8, be on the lookout for your update in the coming days.
