Samsung’s been in the virtual reality game for a while now with the Gear VR, and now the company appears to be stepping its VR efforts up.
Samsung showed off a “high resolution for VR” display at the Display Week conference that is 5.5 inches in size and has a resolution of 3840x2160. To compare, the Galaxy S7 edge has a 5.5-inch display 2560x1440 display, so the high-res VR screen is definitely high-res.
