You hear the Google Assistant a lot when you're talking to it, so it's important for the Assistant to have a voice that you like. To that end, Google is adding a couple of new accents to the Google Assistant.
Starting today, the Google Assistant can have new British or Australian accents. They're called "British Racing Green" and "Sydney Harbour Blue", and you can enable them by going into the Settings app on your phone, tapping the "Assistant" tab, and selecting "Assistant voice."
Google says that these new accents are available to English speakers in the U.S.
