On September 9, pre-orders for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus went live. A week later, on September 16, both devices officially went on sale. As was par for the course with these high-profile iPhone launches, stock wasn’t as plentiful as some people might have liked, and even those who stood in line weren’t able to get the phone they wanted.
