Google will release Android 6.0 for Nexus 5 and 6 on October 5, says carrier

Now that Google has confirmed that the next major Android update will be version 6.0 Marshmallow, most folks are wondering when they’ll actually get that update. Google hasn’t made any official announcements on that matter, but one carrier may have just spilled the beans.
