Ever since the launch of Windows Phone, I’ve been enamored with the idea of having a Microsoft-backed mobile operating system on my phone. I was super excited when Microsoft initially showcased Windows Phone 7 way back when. It was something different! And those Live Tiles! And back then, when that Xbox app existed —before Microsoft’s own Android and iOS alternatives existed— I was all over that.
