Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 has been a hot topic among smartphone enthusiasts for quite some time now. So when Samsung CEO DJ Koh was spotted in public using this device, it was only reasonable why people went paparazzi mode on him.

Unfortunately though, there doesn’t seem to be too many details revealed in the snapped photograph. The CEO was spotted using the Galaxy Note 9 with an S Pen, confirming this bit about the leaked specs. If anything, however, the photo confirms that the Galaxy Note 9 has a cut-out on its new rear layout. This adds to the speculation that the Galaxy Note 9 will have a horizontal dual-camera configuration with a fingerprint scanner situated just below it.

Apart from this new change to the placement of the sensor, there’s not a lot of aesthetic changes that can be seen on the Galaxy Note 9. As a matter of fact, sources say it will have a similar appearance to its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 8. The only difference is the bottom bezel, which has slightly been reduced. There are also sources pointing to a new range of color options available for the Galaxy Note 9, along with contrasting S Pens.

As for its internal specs, the Galaxy Note 9 international model is reported to be powered by the Exynos 9810 processor; which was seen in the other Galaxy S9 devices released this year. The U.S. variant, meanwhile, is reported to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. There is a debate whether the flagship smartphone will have 6GB of RAM/64GB or 8GB of RAM/256GB internal storage configuration. Other features that can be expected include a powerful 4000mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo running with Samsung Experience on top of it.

With regards to the availability and pricing of the Galaxy Note 9, sources reveal that it will be priced at around $960 in the U.S. If it becomes official in three weeks, the Galaxy Note 9 could be available for pre-order by the middle of August. After that, it will start shipping out by August 24th.
