Having issues with Apple Maps today? If so, you're not alone.
Apple has confirmed that Apple Maps was having issues with search, routing, and navigation this morning. The problems affected all users, according to Apple's support site, and they were causing issues for several hours.
The good news is that the outage is now resolved, says Apple. The company says that it "investigated and resolved" the problems and that service was restored at 10:05 am PT/1:05 pm ET.
A lot of people rely on Apple Maps for getting info about locations as well as directions, so this outage was a big deal. While the problems likely had an effect on the morning commute of many users, everything should be getting back to normal now.
